Jimmy
lived 4 blocks from the Quan Yin monastery where his great uncle studied
under 16 monks. When Jimmy was there, there were just 4 Monks left.
Peking is a key city for San Soo. There were monasteries everywhere
but Quan Yin had the books. That section of China conquered the rest.
The other monasteries taught Choi-Li-Ho-Fut. The Art spread throughout
the world by Monks and Nuns giving up the monastery and teaching outside
for food and lodging. The Monks at Quan Yim never taught Jimmy anything.
He would play and pretend to already know Kung fu at the steps of
the monastery and the Monks would tell him that he already knew enough.
He learned from his great uncle.
